I have citroen berlingo 2013 automatic gearbox. suddenly had fluid discharged on the road as I reversed off of driveway, and now only stays in neutral. No problems previously. Has anyone had this happen?, Do you know if it is gearbox or ECU problem./ Clutch actuator pproblem.

Welcome to the forum.
I am not an expert on the Auto Box, but would think that your problem is due to a fault in the gearbox. Hopefully someone with more knowledge will be along soon, but in the meantime I suggest that you do not start the engine or tow the car.

I think the clutch actuator (slave cylinder) is a problem area, also the clutch must have a hydraulic pump which could have failed or burst a fluid line - what colour is the fluid? Clear / yellow? It is likely to be clutch fluid so check the clutch reservoir as it is probably empty or low. This would confirm it.
The B9 auto is actually a manual gearbox with an automated shift and clutch, not a conventional auto with a torque converter (slushbox)
Since it is a manual gearbox at heart, when the clutch fails you cannot move it out of Neutral.
