anyone fitted hubcentric spacers
#1
just fitted some 17" steels and the off set is little bit out , I've fitted some cheap 5mm spacers which corrects the issue .

back wheels are ok ish as they sit in the flange a bit deeper but the fronts are totally reliant on the bolts , which make me a little uncomfortable !

so has anyone fitted hubcentric spacers ? and any advice as to where to buy em ?

or are they even necessary ??

you definitely need to locate the wheel properly on a spigot, i would see if you can get some normal spacers but with a register for the wheel to fit onto, relying on just the bolts is dangerous, i've done this type of thing on proper race cars for over 16 yrs , no way would i drive your car like that.

Hi - have a look at https://www.superforma.co.uk/ and/or drop them a line - I had them machine a set of mega custom spacers for us and they were (1) super efficient (2) easy to chat with (3) well priced. If they do not have what you want on the shelf they can machine it from a blank inside two weeks.

Better safe than sorry......

(For us it was a 4x100 pcd reducing to 4x98pcd on a 35mm blank with an overwide centre bore to refit original  wheels to a modern beam axle with mahoosive bearing cups - I'll leave you to try and double guess what that may have fitted Big Grin )
