Berlingo Campervan locking issues.

Hello folks,

I was wondering if you could help with me with the locks on my factory fitted Multispace Forte (camper van).

For some reason my key doesn’t have a board inside it for the remote central locking.

I’d like it to have remrke central locking bit o thought I’d get the central locking working first.

Also, the drivers front and passenger front doors lock off the key but only the drivers front opens off the key. The button on the dashboard only locks too.

The tailgate has to be opened manually and held open with the key whilst pulled the release lever on the tailgate. Is this normal?

The slide doors on both sides need to be opened manually from inside too, is this normal?

Welcome to the forum.
There are a few threads on central locking with problems similar to yours. If you post on one of them, it's possible that someone has fixed it. Same with the keyfob, you can buy remote fobs and sync them to the car, so long as you have a key that will start the engine.

I can tell you i went the painful way to getting a complete new key from Citroen, £200!!
I did have a working key with the PCB as well.

There are sellers on eBay that will cut a key from a picture, that key will then need to be paired with the car via Lexia / Diagbox. Some key cutters will clone existing keys.

I’ll then try a BSI reset.

I did see someone who would come yo your home to do this. Cut the key and programme the the board for you, at your house! this was on FB.
