Cheers Pete

I’ll pull the Osram night breakers from my current car before I trade it in for the berlingo then.

Are they easy to change on the berlingo or do you have to remove plastic arch liners etc?

Pretty easy, just access the rubber headlight cap from the engine bay, nothing to dismantle. The locking spring is a wee bit awkward especially on the passenger side, but persistence pays off.

I have Nightbreaker Lasers, best lamps I ever fitted.

I'd like the high beam to come on while leaving the dip on too, gives a much better spread of light. It can be modded with a diode or two on other vehicles but the CANBUS would have a fit if you did it on the B9.

The light is much better if you use the flash function and hold it there as both elements are on, than the actual high beam when it changes over. Try it at night and see the difference. Not practical to hold it of course, but would be nice if that was a programmable option. Never looked actually to see if it is. Could be done on the Audi.

Yeah I’ve ran nightbreaker lasers for a couple of years now and wouldn’t go back to standard bulbs again
Fantastic for windy country lanes at night

Just a word or 2 of warning, Running with dip and main ontogether would take you above the maximum p[ermitted light output allowed by law and could bring you to the attention of the boys in blue plus the plastic headlamp is not designed to cope with that amount of heat.

Cant remember but an internet search will bring it up, it is certainly less than the combined dip and main beam of nightbreakers.

mmm these sound good, the std bulbs are a biy dim to say the least.

Many years ago i bought some rally car bulbs 12v 180 watt, they were kin bright. Was stopped by the Police as i forgot to dip them, he was well and truly p***ed. I apologised and groveled and he let me off.
There was two sides to these bulbs 1 bad, they turned the reflectors yellow through burning 2 good, it you had wet trousers you could stand in from of them and watch the steam rise off the trousers, really!!
