Mine was a M16 x 1.5 thread. But mine is the 1.6 petrol, so I don't know if it shares the same sump.

However, I inadvertently ordered the wrong one first time as a web search suggested it was M14 x 1.25. I measured it and it seemed to be 14mm, but when I compared it to the new one it clearly wasn't. So I sent them my old one to match it correctly and they returned it with a Femco replacement that I permanently thread locked into place.

It's worked a treat.

Thanks Tucks.

Looks like mine is the M14x125. I'll phone Femco on Monday and order the low profile version

The Femco low profile plug is great.

If you are keeping the vehicle it's well worth it as a DIYer.
