Didnt pay with my paypal account as I have 2 step set up and cant have my phone with me at work upon pain of death [or just being fired] but paid with the paypal link using my curve card which came up as "Admin".

I an trace it through the NatWest and see where exactly its gone, though with it being paypal they might just say "its gone to Paypal" and lets face it £7 isnt exactly going to get them fired up. I think I was at Preston HMP when I did this so will see if my browser History goes back that far.

If you've paid with Paypal, you'll be able to see the transaction in your Paypal account and get it refunded if nothing shows up. It'll probably not be possible to see where it went though as that's one of Paypal's selling points.

As I said it wasn't paid with my PayPal account but with the link that allowed me to make a card payment to a PayPal address that just shows as admin.

I have 2 step authentication so couldn't log onto my account as phones are not allowed in my establishment but could check out as a guest with a card.

Understood, first time I've come across that way to pay.
As you have a Paypal account, maybe you can get in touch with Paypal to see if they can trace it even though it went from a card to a different account, presumably there's a transaction code somewhere.
