M59 BSI Technical Document (Citroen Training)
#1
I've attached the Citroen Technical Training manual on the Multiplexed BSI as used in the Xsara and Picasso, very similar if you have a B9 but it shows all of the functions you have which are not in the ECU but are controlled by the BSI.

Others with an M59 may find this document even more useful. The attachment is a PDF document. (use Adobe Acrobat or similar to open it - or MS Word if you have that)

I know this has some images of the MFD screen that are particular to the Xsara/Picasso but in all other respects, it will be the same as the one you have in your M59 and hopefully useful when troubleshooting an issue or understanding operation. Not yet found the dedicated one for the actual M59 or B9 but will post it if I find it.

Could you be having specifically for full CAN versions, post 2002 with the 2.0hdi engine?

I don't have any other BSI tech documents, though a 2002 is still VAN bus and not CAN, the Xsara system is the same on Berlingo M49, and the Xsara ran until 2006. Yours must be the same as this document, regardless of the engine type.

The changeover from comfort VAN to VAN/CAN was around 2002 so yours should still be mostly  VAN and this document should be equivalent.

What are you trying to find out?
