A surprise

Hey everyone

I never thought I might introduce myself in a Berlingo Forum, but here we go   I'm kind of a Citroen Fanboy, my first car was my dad's old Xantia and then I bought a Xsara VTS in gold (which I still own) and a couple of years later a C4 Loeb edition....and now a Citroen Berlingo XTR, 2016 with 120bhp 

Instead of buying a DS something we decided a Citroen Berlingo would suit us better, because we would like it to convert it as a Mini Camper (like everyone else does this year as it looks like). 

So I might have some questions about the Berlingo conversion at some point

I really like the XTR so slightly envious.

Been an (old) Citroen fanboy since 1978 and had Dyanes, GS1220s, LNA, Visa GT, AX GT, ZX Volcane which got traded in 2005 for a Multispace which I still have (yes, it's being campered).

Got lost along the way a couple of times with a Supra, Land Rover, VW T4 but have returned each time to the double chevron.

We're all nutters here(that's what they call people who like to work on cars, right?) and there's always room for one more...

My own list of goodies;

1975 Citröen GS 1.2 Pallas (no one lists it as 1220, that's just bragging. And Pallas was the 'de luxe' version with black vinyl on the roof)
1984 CX 2000. Man, what a cruiser. The miles(metric) went by effortlessly.
1987 BX Estate. Great car. A pity about the 6WD dump truck...
1998 Berlingo 1.4i Brought low by a SUV left in neutral on a sloping parking lot.
1999 Berlingo 1.4i Still rolling. The ragtop doesn't work, though.
