Could anyone advise if / how I could uprate a 60hp dw8 wjx out of my rusty 55 plate C15 so I can fit it in a Berlingo which I think is around 70hp? I thought it was an identical engine until recently. I like the 1.9 d in the Berlingo but wouldn't want to go any slower. Thanks in advance

No idea myself (as my 1.7 C15 committed suicide years ago) but there was talk on this forum (which I cannot find) about the ability to increase the fuel flow on the 1.9 with Lucas pumps by adjusting a widget someplace on the pump body. That may apply to the 1.7 but you'd need to ask one of the experts.

Thanks. Was hoping that it might be something as simple as pump adjustment. Just with it being designated a different code wjx thought there might be something about the build.

Google the "Evry mod" mate, it's for Audi's fitted with the Lucas pump, should give you an idea. There's a whole thread on how to do it on audi-sport.net.
It involves a switch but there's also a max fuel screw.
Spelled Evry exactly like that, not Every etc.
