That article is the first that actually explains why the injector compression leak contaminated the oil. Makes sense now if it can get sucked down the oil seal. I always assumed there was no oil supply anywhere near the injector mounts.

I too didn't understand how the oil was contaminated by a leaking injector, but all is clear having read the article.
