I asked about putting C4GP seats into my Berlingo, because y mum said they were really comfy, which means a lot to me because she's broken her hip twice. But in effect I was told that it'd be considered a modification and would cause insurance problems. I only wanted to know if they could fit physically!
However it is clear that a lot of the off-grid brigade fit diff seats to their Berlingos so it must be possible.
As for myself, I am like you - a bit of extra height would be wonderful, and I was wondering whether some box section steel tube could go in between the existing seats and the floor, on the hush hush so to speak.

At the end of the day, the C4 Grand Picasso is exactly the same as the B9 so there must be a correlation - the 306 is an M59.... I can't see the insurance company inspecting your seats. Some folk squeal "insurance" when you mention changing tyres.
It's not like you're putting parts in from a different vehicle brand. If you fit mods and are worried about insurance then move to Adrian Flux. They accept all modifications.
