My 2018 XTR appears to have the aux heater, it makes a bit of difference. I see on Infotec in the fuse layout, that 'Auxiliary Heater' has a 5amp fuse. So the heater cannot be more than say 40watts. Not surprising it does not make that much improvement.

I'm pretty sure it's more than 40w.
Is the 5A fuse not the power supply to the relay for the aux heater.
I seem to recall 1000w being mentioned at some point but don't hold me to that, I do know the wiring to it is rather thick which would suggest a good few amps.

I tried this this morning as I was out early in the cold and wet. No heated mirrors, no rear windows. It seemed to heat up quicker than normal. I was happy and toasty!
