Hello. I've signed up because I saw another thread on here that several people had been having a similar problem with the touch screen switching on and off.
I have a late 2015 1.6 BlueHDI 100XTR the problem also started early October or end of September. Has anyone found the cause or solution to this problem ?

The i would like to ask if anyone knows how to fix or what to do with a stereo that constantly turns on and off . I have a 2017 berlingo enterprise with the touch screen and it is being very annoying and very frustrating switching on and off as i drive along. I disconnected my phone and set everything back to factory to see if my phone was the problem but thats made no difference. Was hoping someone might know what needs doing to solve this before i lose my marbles and put my fist through the screen !!! thanks in advance
Just had my software upgraded at Citroen dealer £60 problem solved Known fault but not covered unless in warranty period
I wonder if that's the 'from new' warranty period or applies to the Citroen 'used car' warranty as well.

Can the B9 touch screen not be updated from a USB stick once the firmware is downloaded? I don't have the touchscreen version but I've read others doing it. I think you need the MyCitroen app and it contains instructions or links to get the update online.
The files are tar archives which need to be extracted, placed on a formatted usb 3 stick of 16gb then inserted in the car usb slot and follow the prompts.
It seems to take a while and there's quite a delay before everything works properly again.
Hope this is of some help.

My phone acts up like that with things coming on and going off when the touch screen is dirty, even though I can't see much dirt/grease on it. The stupid question is, is the screen clean?
Now a 2019 K9 1.2 petrol.
Before a 2010 B9 1.6 HDi diesel.

I had the same issue. When I got my MOT/service done at the dealership on the 16th of December there was a software update available (£51) which I got and I haven't had the issue since.
