Berlingl0w - B9 Berlingo Lowered on 19’s
#11
Scottish traffic cops are like the Stazi up here - no give or take. They'd do the same thing. No tint on the front windows darker than 75% clear, which in fairness most come from the factory already tinted to that level. They will make you pull it off at the roadside normally. I've seen them do it in Edinburgh.

Nice wheels btw.

3 bolts and the fourth is a longer wheel bolt. So 4 of the new 5 holes are short bolts and one of is long bolting right through creating the filth fixing of the wheel and the fourth of the adaptors, good engineering IMO.

Peter

The van was fully insured for all the modifications before they were made, made the insurance about £130 more expensive.

Aye, seen plenty folk ripping their tints out at the side of the road, especially back in 2005 when the Five O first got the boxes to measure opacity.

No, I’m playing with fire on this one, boys. 70%. My risk.

70% is OK on the side front windows but only 75% allowed on the windscreen.   Out of interest how much will the tinting cost you?

I’m not tinting the full windscreen, just a sun strip.

To be honest, I didn’t want to tint at all but an old colleague of mine was out of work and decided to start up this tinting and wrapping company so I’m doing it to support him more than anything.

£90 for the tints and sun strip including labour.

The van isn’t completely clean but here’s some shots of how it sits today.

The wheels are BOLA B8R in silver 19x8.5” ET45 but had 20mm machines off the back of the wheel hub then mounted with 4x108 to 5x180 20mm hub adaptors spacers. Tyres are stretched 225/35R19

Those wheels suit it well but I can’t help think it needs to be lower.

Agreed! I’ve decided I’ll go down the route of compressing the springs as some have done.

If anyone has any company’s they know whom do this, please do let me know. Thanks in advance.
