First of all i would like to thank you for being a member!

The second things, could you help me in this thing. I read a lot of chats, but i dont find this problem solved. I have a berlingo (09 2020.), i think it is a K9 type. I have problem with the heating. I was in the service and they told me "its like that". I have 3 buttons (window, foot and body). I switch on only one button, the problem is the heat is flows inside the cabin. And the themperature setting is 18C but once it is hot, another time it is cold inside.

I know nothing of the K9, sorry - but this sounds like the truck I drive.

The heated air is not hot-warm-cold, as in old cars, but only hot/cold.

The temp control is  like an air-conditioning thermostat in an office - you set the temp, then hot air is pumped to reach that setting. Then the air gets a little too warm, so the control sends cold air to cool the air again.

That is what my truck does anyway. Very annoying. Maybe the K9 does this as well?

Yes, this is the problem.

And the other problem is: i set up the just the window air, is but the air comes everywhere, not just in the set part. In the service told me: "its like that". Pfff

Just close the vents - soon as you put it on to your feet, the air also comes out of the dash vents. Pretty annoying as it only seems to be PSA vehicles that do it!

You will need to close the vents - i drive a lot with the heat on my feet and a window slightly open

Can't you take it out of auto climate control? That way it stays on heat or cool, when set.

I have exactly the same issue - the heater is a bit nuts but I think it's some kind of auto temperature thing. Every time I get back in the cab to drive off I get blasted with hot air! Hot air comes out of the middle vents when cold is coming out of the footwells. I'm going to try to read the manual again to work it out but I have a feeling it's just a bad design.

Edit: The online manual makes it look like both versions of the heater are auto temp. controlled, however when you download the actual pdf it is only the dual auto climate that is mentioned as auto temperature adjusting.

It's just a shame that modern cars are designed by people who live in climate-controlled office blocks.

You might find that if theres a control for fan speed, moving it one notch up or down will trip it out of auto and give you control over the temperature, fan speed and vent selection. This works on Audi & BMW so may work on yours with auto climate control.

Once the user selects a fan speed, the climate control is deactivated to manual control. From there, you have control over the settings.

I've yet to turn the aircon on in my K9 - I've just manually adjusted the dials for fan speed and temperature, and activated all three buttons for directing airflow to screen/feet/face vents. Not had any problems with blasts of hot or cold air, and the response to turning the temp dial is subtle and immediate.
