Just had my clutch and bits changed on a 2009 XTR 1.6Hdi manual and the mechanic confirmed it is a DMF and not damaged by the clutch going.

One to add to the DMF question.

Just confirmation of a DMF equipped vehicle Geoff. The OP posted he had been asked by the mechanic if he had a DMF prior to clutch replacement which was confirmed once the clutch was removed.
