2.0 HDi turning, not starting, not connecting to OBDII - Solved

Don't want to tempt fate so can understand if you haven't tried this, but just wondering, does the OBD reader now work with the new ECU?

I seem to have the same problem with my 2.0hdi now. It just stalled and wont start. Engine will turn over but It wont fire
Ignition lights come on but it the OBDI scanner wont connect to the ECU
It hasnt done this before.
Are there any simple checks I can do with the ECU, like fuses, WD40 etc?
