Hello troops,
I wonder if my heater blower fan is noisier than it should be ? It makes a sound like a leaf or piece of paper being held against bicycle spokes. A sort of very rapid clicking.
Is this normal? Its quite annoying and I'm hoping I can quieten it a bit.

Not normal but mine started doing that noise when the resistor was going. You'd have to pull it to see for sure if anything is in there.... Nothing can actually get in there though. The grille, mesh and cabin filter stop all debris from entering.
More likely the resistor is failing and the low voltage has made the motor noisy. The bearings are probably a bit notchy so it makes a bad combination.
I changed the resistor and sprayed thin lube into the bearings, fine now.

OK great I'll try that. When researching on the forum before posing my question I saw lots of threads about this infamous resistor so I'll read up on it. Thanks ?
