[Engine] Injector seals

The seals on one of my injectors are leaking (blow by) is it an easy job or am I better off taking it to my local garage. Its is a 1.6hdi

Hi Jimbob1 I did one yesterday its fairly easy I did number 3 injector. Injectors can sometimes stick in tight other than that it took longer to clean all the black grime off and make sure you clean the flat seat where the washer mates.Try not to touch the tip of the injector or get any of the muck near it as the holes are tiny and easy to block..Best thing do is watch the you tube videos gives you a good idea and be patient getting the injector out if its tight (wd40) and rocket side to side carefully prying upwards with a pry bar carefully worked for me as not got injector puller good luck hope that helps.

I am having the same problem with my 1.6 HDi engine. I would like to replace the injector seals with my girlfriend.
I have already looked at different brands but I am not entirely sure which one to trust.
Can you recommend me good brands that make seals for injectors?
