Recommended toolset and Torx screw replacement
#1
Hello everyone, I have a Berlingo 2004 HDI, and I have a couple of questions.
The first question is, is there a toolset that's specific for Berlingo models? like it has all the Torx screwdrivers and other tools this car needs?

The second question is, I recently had a leak from the radiator to the passenger seat and had to remove the carpet there and clean everything.
so while doing that I had to remove the passenger seat, so that went ok, but now I want to clean under the driver seat as well, but the torx screws there are hard to take out, and somewhat stripped.

so the question is, where can I get replacement screws for that seat, assuming I can drill the exiting screws out.

thanks for reading, and have a great day!

Do you mean the screws that hold the seat frame to the body?
They are standard M8 threads IIRC. You can get button head bolts with hex socket heads to fit.

yes, the four screws that hold the rails that slide the seat.
now I need to measure the ones I can take out to see what length of screws I need to order.
thanks!

also, I found these, hope they'll do the job.

The screws are about 2" long, but they are not countersunk as in your link.

I think these will do the job..

I agree with cancunia, if you need to replace the originals the allen screws in the ebay listing would do the job (If i have to replace torx drive bolts I always use allen bolts)

I don't want to bleat on about this too much, but those screws hold your seat (& you) to the floor. The originals will be probably be high tensile and are probably longer than normal to help stop the threads stripping under a shock load. The screws I linked are high tensile, but were just an example, there may be others of the same spec for a better price. The examples are also black, like the originals.
