Berlingo 1.6 HDi 2007 - Dashboard instrumentation chang-
#1
Hi mates, I'm on the way to install the cruise control on my Berlingo '07. I've already installed the lever of command and I'm waiting for a friend of mine to activate it trough the diagbox. Now, since I'd like to be able to have the CC indications on the main dashboard, i bought a second hand instrument. I've changed it and it looks working, but all the lights are on and the "STOP" one and fuel reserve are flashing. Also the kilometres are not displayed, i can only see some dots. Where did I go wrong? Do i need to reset the BSI or something else and if yes how is the procedure? Thanks a lot in advance, this forum is extremely precious and helpful.

Have a look at this thread (all is explained): https://www.berlingoforum.com/thread-16110.html
I do not quite remember the details, but for the original cluster (no CC LCD) there is option in the ECU/BSI (in the thread) that changes from type 1 or type 2. Type one is for the original cluster (no CC LCD). If type 2 is selected for the original you get Christmas lights (same as what you have described). If option 1 is selected with the new cluster (with CC LCD) then same Christmas lights appear. The new cluster needs to be changed with Lexia to type 2 and they disappear.
smile, you are alive! Peugeot Partner Escapade (same as M59, but with offroady-ish look) 2007, 1.6HDi 92
