I woke up this morning with a spring in my step. Went downstairs to make a brew, went outside to drink my brew and have my morning fag only to realise that some dirty, louse-bound bastard had nicked my wing mirrors off my beloved Berlingo van....... Can you believe that????? I nearly spat out my tea and swallowed my fag!!!!!......... Just wanted to share my (bad) experience with some like minded Berlingo lovers such as yourselves.......... If anybody happens to approach you trying to sell two wing mirrors then beware, they could very well be stolen! And if you do buy them then good luck cleaning them, they were filthy!!!!!!!

I can't believe that no, the whole thing on both sides? I swear you have to get inside to undo some bolts? You seem to be coping well.
Someone cut the buds from our newly planted flower (singular) in our front garden once, took me a while to come to terms with the stupidity of that.

Thats a strange one, the mirrors are held on by 3 screws which are located on the inside and the inside panel has to be taken off. They must have snapped the mirrors clean off?!

Funnily enough I was reading the UK news online the other day and there was a piece about the ever growing problem of bits being nicked off of cars to order.
There was one guy that had parked his wheelchair converted Citroen Jumpy (or the Peugeot equivalent) on the forecourt of the filling station he owns for the night,he lived just a few hundred metres away.
When he went out the next morning someone had relieved him of both front wings, bonnet, front panel with grille and airco system!
The article also went on to mention the ever growing problem of fuel theft from vehicles, and with most vehicles now fitted with anti-syphon filler necks, the scumbags simply crawl underneath and drill a hole in the fuel tank or rip off the fuel feed pipe and syphon the fuel off.
A lot of people were left with huge bills to replace fuel tanks.

Thanks for your comments lads....... I must just clarify Philip and Andre that they didn't snap the mirrors clean off but they managed to prise the mirrors off the circular bracket which is inside the plastic casing. Luckily they haven't damaged the casing and didn't pinch the mechanisms inside. All it's gonna cost me is a few quid for replacement mirrors.
Just bloody annoying though because I'm a self-employed window cleaner and my Berlingo is my office really as it has my purified water tank, pump etc in the back and I need to get the mirrors sorted before my van is classed as 'Legal', plus I'm brassic!
XTR, I was telling a local copper about it and he said that there's been a spate of vehicle badge thefts lately.... He said that one bloke came in to the station to report that some little darling had used a crowbar to prise his bonnet open just to pinch the Mercedes Benz badge off his V8 AMG, which made me feel that it could have been worse!
Oh and Coco and Raymi5, believe me, if I ever have the fortune to catch the f**k-pig touching my property again, after I'm finished with him he won't be phisically able to steal again off anybody!!!!
Take Care fellas, speak soon

Halfords used to do replacement mirror glasses as non-original equipment. Think they just stuck on but might have needed the old broken one to stick to...

That's not good - having had a broken mirror (broke at the junction with the car rather than the glass). The glasses are really not that easy to remove in my experience. Not that it really helps much.
I feel your pain, having had two different things broken off my berlingo in the past 6 months :censored:

May have already seen them, but if need be I'm sure someone down there would pick them up for you, without putting words in anyone's mouth it has been offered before.
