Not an XTR but I took the Modutop as an option, the XTR colors was not to my liking

Hahaha.
I had to recently use the SOH CAH TOA for my M59. I replaced both inner and outer tie/track rods and decided in these Covid times not to go for an alignment and do it myself with a fishing line, two copper pipes and 4 axle stands. I hate paying good money for something I can do myself, not taking into account the added benefit of learning how the thing operates.
Everything all good, measurements, etc. I had to move both of them ~1.5mm probably inside, I cannot quite remember. This was exactly one revolution of the inner tie rod as the thread pitch is 1.5mm or something like that. Big mistake. Suffice to say when I did my adjustment the two front wheels looked like this / \ .
What I did not realise is that the tie rod connects somewhat two thirds in the wheel and not at the very end. 1.5mm movement in the inner tie rod results in much bigger change when measured from the rim of the wheel. Then I had to calculate the SOH, etc., to understand that it is ~two thirds and not one 1.5mm turn of the inner tie rod resulting in 1.5mm movement.

They don't sell the XL with Modutop  Could just offer panorama roof and leave out the internal bits, I would be very happy.
