As the doors are huge and hollow there's a lot of rattle when playing anything. The obvious solution to fix this would be applying insulation mat to the doors and replacing speakers.
Having checked a few online sites all say the speakers are 2 Ohms and upgrade kits cost double/triple of normal ones. So it would be logical to also replace the amp and use regular speakers. Has onyone here done this?
Try taking off the door cards and tightening all the loose nuts and bolts on the door hardware, probably loads. They're well known for it.

I am in the same situation, so trying to awaken this post.
I bought an active bass which is mounted under the drivers seat. I have managed to access the stereo unit (behind layers of dashboard plastic!), but have not found any wiring diagrams for the unit (Bosch 983350080). Seems to be a version of ISO connections, but not quite.
Though, all are taken, as I have four speakers installed. I was hoping to be able to find more connections. The middle pins above the fuse, are they something else? All unused in my case.
Did you have any luck with this? I have a vibe underseat subwoofer kicking around I'd like to put in my van but have yet to dig around in the dash to find where to splice in to
