2005 Berlingo 1.9 Diesel Fuel Filter.

Hello, can anyone tell me how to get the plastic clamp on the fuel filter top secured.?  2005  Berlingo 1.9 diesel. Fuel filter replaced & top fitted, but clamp will not join up.

Make sure you get it good and tight, they can leak air here and it makes them a pig to start first thing

change the oring with a new one and lubricate the oring with diesel before placing, then close the top cover firmly and then you should get the clamp closed.
