Hi there, it's me again ??
I still haven't got the rear light cluster off, the Citroen mechanic told me it should just pull out once the 2 torx screws are out. Gonna try it again tomorrow.
My next question is does anybody know how to get the plastic trim off on the inside wall of the boot space?
I'm trying to wire up tow bar electrics, so I need to get in behind the light cluster from the inside.
Thanks

Not sure about the K9 but my M59 had thin rubber rings around the outline and they were holding the cluster on like glue. I suspect they had gone hard from old age. The high level brake light was so stuck I left it alone for fear of breaking it.

Mine should be pretty fresh as the car isn't quite 2 years old yet.

Once the bolts are out just pull to the side and up slightly. The lights have two plastic locating lugs that fit into the body.
As for the trim just pull a bit at a time. That's all i did to get them off. Just be careful as you can break the clips on the back.

I have removed several plastic panels from my K9, for various tasks and found the quality of clips to be excellent. None of those 'more likely to break' type used by other manufacturers. All panels have been removed and replaced without a single breakage.

You have been very lucky or the clips grow brittle with age . I removed a door panel and there only two which didn't break

I finally got the light cluster off (very tricky and had to get a big screwdriver to lever off the bottom clip).
The interior trim removal is a nightmare!! Light coloured upper trim first, lost 3 of the 4 blue poppers. Then 2 torx screws and the side trim off, only lost 2 poppers but will replace them all ( I don't know how u folks can get them off and reuse them,? To me they seem to be single use by design.)
Had to remove the boot plastic trim, it has different white coloured poppers, 5 of,,,,,, lost 3 of them too?
F ing crap car to work on so far, clearly Citroen don't want the DIY'er anywhere near it.
