Berlingo Car Cover
#1
Any of you use a car cover? I found a site in the UK, but I'd rather order within the EU to avoid import tax. Any suggestions? Thank you.

It's art tieing it down so that the dust does not blow under it and then the wind won't sand your paint.

(13-03-2021, 10:50 PM)Yikes, so better to not use one than to have the dust "sand the paint?" Haha. Maybe I would just use it sparingly, like if I have to park under a tree? Did you have one and stop using it?Thanks, as always.  boop Wrote:  It's art tieing it down so that the dust does not blow under it and then the wind won't sand your paint.

I used a car cover before I got a garage near my house. Protecting the car from the sun, rain, and dust is nice. But you should still be careful with it because it might cause enhanced humidity under the cover and therefore cause rust in some of the car parts. That’s why you need a multilayered car cover for it not only to keep the water outside but also to let the water from the inside leave. You can find such covers on car cover Canada for instance. The import tax should be lower if you order from Canada. I really advise you to use a good cover and not a cheap Chinese one.
