Citroen Internal Technician Training:

Diagnosis for 1200 rpm and 3000 rpm limp modes, and guidance on what the ECU does for every individual fault condition: (fault strategy)

Some faults cause no running issues, some cause the ECU to restrict RPM to 3000, some cause restricted operation to 1200 RPM and some cause loss of start authorisation (Injection ECU is commanded to stop the engine)
