It was the B.S.M. , when side repeater blew it was caused by a short in B.S.M. . I got a second hand one from breakers for £70 and fixed it .

For those of us who aren't fully up to date on vehicle acronyms what is the B.S.M. please?

B.S.M. is the under bonnet fuse and relay box . its next to the battery . it has the relays for turn signals built into it and water damage caused the fault .
