Window bolt missing
#1
Hi everyone- noticed I'm missing a window bolt on the rear drivers side door, see pictures.

Any suggestions on where I can get another one, and what it's called to help me search for it?

Thanks!

Seal washer:

But none of those parts is a bolt....

I had one missing and ordered the rubber  / metal cap+ screw from ebay.
I don't think there was a washer, but it didnt look like one was needed.

When I fitted it, the torx screw on the inside of the window is a sod to access, but by removing the rear latch, the window swings out far enough to do it.

I also used soudal fixall crystal sealant to secure the rear of the cap to the outside of the glass, to ensure that it never falls off again.
I also used a bit of thread sealant on the screw, just to make sure.

I see loads of Berlingo Partners with missing window caps, so gluing the damn things on with sealant means they will never fall off again.

thanks - good tips! there some gouges in the latch on the inside of the window- looks like the previous owners had to do this too. Clocked the gouges and thought that this might be fun.......

Parts arrived and coincided with having it booked in for a window tint. The lovely guy fitted the bolt for me whilst he was tinting! Win Smile

Is there defiantly a washer need in addition to the 8573 79? I took my windows out to tint yesterday and I had no washers just cap nut with the rubber cover (see below) I'm doesn't look like I'm the first to remove them just wondering if previous owner lost them.
