Battery icon

Hi Guys

I have a 2018 K9 XTR, which has the large display screen in centre of dash.

When using sat nav, at the top, in some screens, there is a strength bar icon, similar to a signal strength meter. Along side this is a battery icon, which always appears to show very low.

Is there a separate battery for the sat nav?
Does it only charge when in sat nav mode?

I can't find any mention of it in the manual.

Are you talking about your phone battery that it displays when connected?

I will go out and disconnect the phone and see what I get.

You were spot on there. Why did I not realise that was my phone battery icon?????

My phone tends to live in the glove box as I opted out of the 'slave to the mobile phone' culture when I retired some 10 years ago.

It is the phone battery..mine displays the battery and signal strength of the phone.

Sorry just realised you figured out it was your phone...
