Couple of straps hold the front wheel in place, and keep the rear wheel against the frame behind the drivers seat.
Trusty bungee on the ramp.
Still room for the dog bed, and can all be taken out in a couple of minutes when needed.

Sparx, where did you get the ramp? that would be ideal as I have a E-Bike which is very heavy and awkward

Ah ok, local petshop would potentially have something similar. Pets at home do something along the same lines but it didn't look very sturdy!
I thought it was a step ladder at first. You've provided a solution now it's up to me, Taking a friends dog for grooming tomorrow so will see if they sell them.
