console removal

Hi

Can anyone help me out re: removing the centre console (below the gear stick)? I want to access the 12V socket wiring.

I want to deaden/soundproof the front floor so will be removing the plastic floor covering at some point soon. I guess the centre console will have to come out then...   Can't promise how soon but I'll take some pictures and do a write up when I do it.
