80A fuse not tightened?!
#1
Hi Guys,

fresh after intro, here is the first question.

I opened the engine bay fuse box and found out one of the 80A fuse seems not to be tightened on one end. Asked the local dealer and he said it's normal like this?!

Could anyone confirm and eventually explain, in case this is normal, why?! Big Grin

From your picture I would guess it is for wiring an ancillary circuit, not fitted to your vehicle.

Looking at the one next to it on the right that has a terminal connected to that one so I would say as Gaunock said the left one is for an accessory not fitted on your vehicle.
Are we there yet????? Huh

hi guys, thanks for your replies, I normally don't feel comfortable with 80A circuits not securely tightened, but I guess you are right, since there is nothing connected there, that should not matter.

Had a poor experience with sub-standard quality control before, so I guess this triggered some warning signs in my head  Big Grin

Thanks!
