What's the maximum load I can take, is it effected by my trailer?

I have a 2003 1.9D Multispace Berlingo.
I also have a trailer rated at 500kg.

I just loaded the whole lot up with logs and was impressed how well the little Berlingo went.

It got me thinking, what's the maximum load I can take in my Berlingo? (I can't find a plate of info on the car nor any info on the log book)

Also, is this max weight effected by having my fully loaded trailer hitched?

It should tell you in the hand book what the maximum GTW (gross train weight) is when towing.
A 500kg trailer should present no problems,as long as you don't overload it.

I have a galvanised trailer which I bought just after I bought my XTR,basically because I didn't want to damage the interior of the car when loading it up with garden rubbish etc.
Okay,most of the time it's parked alongside the house,but it has proved invaluable for trips to the DIY and garden centre.
