Are the EGR cleaning spays where you don't have to remove the EGR worth using ?

Not in my opinion.
Remove it and clean it properly.

No idea really, but I'll take a guess at a couple of hours labour.
Maybe someone else will give a more accurate figure.

Just blank off that bloody valve and have it disabled in the software.
Its only time before they break down and when it does work its just clocking up the turbo
