Nice picture, where was it taken?

Thanks. It's the west coast of Scotland, that's Skye in the distance. We managed to be there for last summer's heat wave. It felt like being in New Zealand! Blue skies every day Smile
Do you think it's a fair price for the car?

Thanks for the info, I'm heading that way in June if the weather & lockdown rules will allow it.

As for the price, a quick look around suggests that it's very reasonable. You can also compare with eBay, Gumtree & FB Marketplace also for a rock bottom guestimate try WeBuyAnyCar but it'll come down to the right buyer being interested.
It's 13 ish years old, has the cambelt been changed?
Do you know if it has an 8V or 16V engine (you can tell quickly by the engine cover)

Great. Hope you can go. It's absolutely stunning.

It's got the 16V Engine.
Cambelt hasn't been changed but I use a mechanic who knows citroens inside out and he hasn't mentioned it.

Thanks.

Update: It also has electric front windows, front seat arm rests, hands free bluetooth mobile connection, fog lights, under engine protection plate. I'm not sure which things are options and which things are common to the XTR so thought I should mention them.

Thanks. (now added to original post).

Cambelt should be done at 10 years really irrespective of mileage.
So where does this bit go then ?

Yep. And I just had my clutch done, quote including the flywheel if it was a DMF, was £1400 for just the clutch and flywheel. Mine luckily didn't need the flywheel. It's another £600 for the timing belt to be done, and possibly more darn sarf as garage labour is cheaper up here.

Mine is the same mileage, but 4 years newer. My timing belt will need doing before next year as it's 10 in 2022. Max lifespan officially is 10 years.

Thanks for the info.
You're a mine of Berlingo knowledge! Great forum.
Well, with all that in mind, price dropped to £2650 or near offer.
Cheers.
