What satnav works?

I've just bought a 19 plate Berlingo MPV.  It has the touch screen, but does not have satnav installed.  Is it possible to buy an upgrade to install the optional Citroen satnav?  Failing that, I've already downloaded a satnav to an old smartphone (which can then live in the Berlingo when my partner drives), but the Berlingo doesn't recognise it.  For some reason I can't figure out, I've failed to download Google satnav to this phone.  There are many free satnavs available to download, so can anyone recommend one that is known to work with the Berlingo?

You are wanting to download a satnav to a phone and display it on your Citroen screen? Is that what you mean?
Do you have the Android Auto or Carplay app on the phone?

First you need to install Android Auto app if using an Android phone. Then connect the phone to the USB port of the screen. Then after accepting all kinds of stuff stuff it requires you can fire up Google Maps, Waze or TomTom AmiGO. It'll run on your car's screen instead of your phone. You can use the voice command button for Google searches, Assistant etc. It's awesome.

With Google Maps though half the screen is taken up with the directions in a large font rather than the map. At least it does on mine and I can't use it like that.

Thanks for all the replies. I've downloaded Waze, but got stuck in a cycle trying and failing to register. I've contacted them, and will let you know the outcome.
