Good morning everyone, I’m a berlingo owner for the first time.
I tried to fold up the single part of the rear seat which flattens but is locked into the floor and I can’t flip it up. I can see the catch in place but can’t seem to open it has anyone got any tips and I do apologise if this is a daft question.
Thanks again

Not a daft question. No expert here but...........
There are 2 bits of black string (yes really) run behind the seat base that attach to 2 metal tags on the seat back of the double seat, 1 only on the single seat. These are attached to the sprung hooks that hold the bases in the floor recesses and release it when the seat is folded.
Grub around and find the broken one (mine was the tag on the seat back broke off so a small cable tie fixed it).
Apologies for grotty pic of the single seat which (strangely) is in my lounge.
Same patent on the M49, and yes, that plastic is too weak, and will eventually break.
It's a nice idea, but the execution could use a bit more solidity. ¨
I found that a pair of pliers with a bent tip is a handy thing to keep in the car...
I had same problem, the only one working now is on the single seat !! , what I've done is put plastic ties around the hooks and pull on them when i want to tilt the seats to make more room in the back !! i did purchase replacement corded tabs but couldnt be bothered to put them on !!
nice to be important, more important to be nice
