Hi all, I have a 2011 1.6 Diesel van that has some issues.
The seat belt and handbreak warnings bings keep going off, sometimes just for one trip others for a few days, then it'll be fine for a couple of weeks.
The screen displaying mgp and how many miles is stuck saying I have 6200 miles left in the tank, tho the actual fuel gauge is still working.
Also keep getting ABS system fault, where it seems to turn off and fall back to normal breaking. Was wondering if there was something contolling all these systems or if this is 3 separate issues! Any input appreciated,
Thanks

Try a BSI reset. Search Google for "bba reman BSI reset" exactly as typed, and follow the instructions exactly. If that doesn't fix things, you may have issues with the BSI itself but try the reset first.
Have you recently power washed it by any chance?

Ok, nice one will give it a try, thank you.
Got it end of last year, so she probably got the hose before I turned up, she's not seen one since.

Ah ok, only reason I ask is someone got water in the BSI by putting too much into the air intake below the screen and flooded it, which found its way into the dash. Just wondered, but unlikely then in your case.

Fixed the fuel estimate, not the ABS unfortunately, time will tell on the seatbelt/handbreak, bit so far, so good. I'm calling it a win, thanks.

Care to share? In case someone else has the same problem. (I'm going to assume the BSI reset fixed the range display)
