Hi all I’m new to the berlingo but want an affordable van based car. I have noticed a trend with the third generations currently on sale. They seem to have low miles but many owners?
Does the third gen model have many issues? Same with the rifter and combo models.
The few I’ve seen have had rust both outside and inside, perhaps I’m just unlucky.
I’m now leaning towards getting a 2nd gen berlingo or partner tepee. Any disadvantages going this route? Outside the less modern styling.
Thanks

No issues with mine, I love it.
Had both a Gen2 and a Partner Teepee - again both good cars but I found the spec levels were generally lower on the Peugeot as opposed to the Citroen.

I've had my K9 (i.e. the 3rd generation) a little less than a year, with no issues yet over reliability/quality. Though there is a thread on here from someone who did find rust forming on the roof of theirs. Seems a bit odd for you to have seen a few rusting examples driving around, as they should still be under warranty and it would be fixable.

And the rust saga is still ongoing with everybody passing the buck not our problem not manufacturing problem. Its not a manufacturing problem its a storage problem either where Citroen store or transport them to or where penton store them and don't clean/prep them properly when sold mine is fall out but was on vehicle when collected but didn't know what it was apart from very small orange dots on the paint work that grew over the next few months
