[Brakes] ABS Sensor

My Berlingo has a ABS Sensor fault.
The fault references the Left Hand sensor at fault.

Is the left hand side
1. When sitting in the car (passenger side)
2. While facing the car from the front (drivers side)

Depends whether the warning is in English or French.

These should always be in reference to the car moving forward, not when one looks at the car from the front.

Edit: 1 in your question. It is also the same if sitting in the left or right seat, the left is on the left of the person irrespective of seating/wheel position.
