Hello from Belgium
#1
Hi all,

I would like to join the Berlingo Forum to connect with other owners and gain more knowledge about these cars, we are on our 2nd Berlingo, initially it was my wife's Idea to purchase a Berlingo as a second car, we had a large dog at the time and were in the process of doing some home renovations. After having owned one I wouldn't want to be without one anymore, excellent car and so practical, we love it. The first one was a 2007 1,6 HDI 90hp we bought second hand but had to change it for a newer b9 1,6 HDI 115hp euro 5 as where we live the 2007 euro 4 was no longer permitted within city limits. The b9 is very comfortable and will cruise happily all day on motorway at 130 kmp/h and averages around 6l per 100km overall. I do all my own servicing and have managed to cope with all jobs so far. The car is a 2014 exclusive multispace and has covered 153000km to date, runs great uses no oil and is in great condition, bought second hand in 2018 with 108000km from official Citroen dealer with full history. Hope to keep it for several years to come. Recently my neighbours car got written off (Renault Laguna estate diesel automatic) He approached me to ask if we were happy with the Berlingo and within a few weeks had purchased a black second hand Peugeot Partner 1,6hdi automatic euro 6, very clean car and well optioned, hope he´s as happy with it as we are with ours.

cheers

Neil.

Hi, thanks for your reply

I live in Blaasveld near Willebroek, I'm British married to a Belgian and have been here many years. We've used the Berlingo for several

trips to the UK and hoping to use it to go to Normandy this summer.

Ah OK,

I live in Dover, not so far.

I've been relatively near Willebroek several times, Boom, Dendermonde, Sint Niklaas, Antwerp, Mechelen but never to the town itself. Love Belgium.

Welcome again.
