Hello,
I have been given 6 liters of genuine bmw long life ll04 0w30 acea c3 motor oil by a friend and was wondering if I could use this in my 2014 1,6 hdi berlingo, I have been using 0w30 c2 mainly total quartz but also other brands until now but always 0w30 c2 spec oil. There was no information in my owners manual concerning oil types apart from recommending Total. My understanding is c2 is required for euro 6 diesels fitted with adblue systems, mine is a euro 5 with soot filter so would c3 be ok?
