Hi all and thank you for letting me join the forum.
I have a question or more of a story with a question at the end..
I went and brought a 2017 citroen berlingo enterprise light goods van at the weekend, seemed in good nick and the man wanted 5k for it witch i paid.. after purchasing the van i took it to his local garrage to arrange a full service and mot for my own peice of mind and have left it there to be given the once over before i pick it up at the weekend.
When i walked in the garrage and spoke to the mechanic he said ahh i remember this van in hear not so long ago when the cam belt snaped on the motorway and the water pump seized up..
Cant belive my luck.... he said they fixed it up and alls ok but im not sure..
Any advice as what to do because as far as im aware when this happens the engine has been damaged.
Also engine smelled a bit when i got it to the garrage.
Feel robbed now and at the very least lied too.
