Tyres - 195-15 or 205-15 for 1.6 Bluehdi 100

As both sizes are specced for the car and both come up as options against my reg on tyre sellers, I wondered if anyone here was using 195 65 15 instead of the usual 205 65 15's?

There's at least £20 - £30 difference between the two for the same brand, so is there any compelling reason to stick with the 205's?

I know that the rolling diameter is marginally lower on the 195's, but don't see that as an issue.

And the answer?
Yes it can be done with no issues.
The only consideration is the load rating, as 195's have a very slightly lower rating unless you go for the XL tyres.
So new tyres are Toyo Proxes CF2 95H XL at a saving of over £30 per tyre.

The 65 is a percentage of the tyre width,  so the 195 does have a slightly (2%) smaller rolling diameter.
