Our 2012 Berlingo Multispace 75bhp suffered a major engine failure (it seized) at only 21,000 miles.
The car was written off buy the insurance company and we bought it back for £700 as aside from the now ruined engine the car is in fantastic condition.
So, does anyone have any recommendations as to where to source a decent engine and have it fitted? I do have a mechanic who can fit a supply only engine if necessary.
I've dealt with so many rip off "re-con engine" suppliers in my past job as they usually just stick a used engine in and hope it's okay. There's never any actual reconditioning!
For info, I'm in the South East, M25 J6.
Any pointers greatly appreciated.
