Hi there new to this forum. I have a Berlingo 2017 1.6 HDI. I have a knocking effect through my steering wheel going at slow speeds. Also have a spring noise when turning steering wheel. Been to mechanic and all the ball joints, CV joints are solid. No breaks in Spring either. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance.

berlingos suffer from the bearing wearing at the top of the front suspension strut. When worn you get the same symptoms. The bearing sits between the suspension/road coil spring and the body.
When worn , turning the steering tends to try to turn the coil spring causing a spring noise.
Not expensive but fitting is a bit of a hassle

If everything is alright I usually put it down to demonic possession, time for an exorcism I think ? Last time mine had a problem with odd knocking on the front it was the drop link to the anti roll bar and the time before that it was a bottom ball joint but if yours are all fine I am at a loss.
So where does this bit go then ?
