replacing fuel injectors

Apparently my original issue is down to these:brickwall: so firstly where can I get them cheapRolleyes and secondly how do I fit them? Is it something that a pro needs to do?:eek:

Is there a how to guide anywhere?

Hi Widget, Sorry not able to be of much further help as mines a 1.4 petrol. However, £20 or so spent on the Haynes manual is welll worth the outlay. It looks that replacing them is similar to sparkplugs.
If you can get the part number for the injectors then a "google" will throw suppliers up.

Unfortunately, I think they are quite expensive to replace.

Local scrap yards might be your best bet. If you can find a 1.9d model, you may well have to remove them, which should set you up nicely for fitting them to yours! Smile

They are about £180 new iirc, maybe best to hand it to a garage if you aren't familiar.

Injectors can be serviced by a local specialist, ask at your local garage to find out who they use.
