My 2012 Multispace came (unusually) fitted with the factory bluetooth stereo and sat nav. I already know that annoyingly, this stereo only works for bluetooth phone calls, not audio / media.
Unfortunately for me, my iphone doesnt have a headphone socket so I cannot use the aux input in the glovebox. If I buy an aftermarket bluetooth adaptor to plug into the aux socket instead, that will disconnect the built in bluetooth function and I wont be able to make use of the vehicle's microphone for phone calls! Its an unfortunate combination but I really dont want to change the head unit. Are there any alternatives short of getting a different phone?
